looks like a frowning gorilla.

Fugly :smirk: ...same as the old one  ...with what looks like a chopped roof.

i remember seeing that picture about a year ago.. iirc it was just a concept but i think it looks cool, hopefully will get produced!

not as "fairy" looking at the flower power bettles today.

thatd look quite nice with sitting on air haha.

That picture's a few years old,i saw it a couple of years ago as the jazzed-up preview to what the current car was gonna look like (flattened arches, restyled bumpers).

That car is already on sale. The roof didn't happen and was never going to - certainly not in europe, anyway.

its just not right

I think it looks good :p

Defanately more testosterone in this version!

Won't catch driving one though :ninja: ....

Still a Golf in a party frock...........

i quite like it, but its been in the making for ages... with vw saying they will make it, then they wont, then they will..

it think they are trying to do somthing like the original bug.. with the original torsion bar (beam ) bugs having rag top and standard versions.. now they want to release a strange cross breed which is like the 1302 was at the time... giving it a multitude of different types....

did they ever make that one that looks like a cross between the polo dune and a bug?

my mam drives the other new age beetle its a nice drive but as for styling iam not keep on it! funny in the summer pinch it for a few drives down the beach with te top down looking like a proper shirt lifter! :-D

Thats been a concept for a while iirc, definately nicer than the current one :) But nothing will be as cool as the old one 8-)
