After selling the lupo, I managed to find this polo in scot ads. Met the guy in Keith the next day and drove it back.

Its a 2003 Polo 9N se, which is far better equipped than the lupo, 1.4 more-door in Rosewood Red.

Interior looked as if something had been living with it, but after a couple of hours, i got it looking like this:

Gave the car a quick wash today, whcih wasnt the best as it kept freezing over:

So far i have taken off the trims, fitted new head light bulbs and debadged the rear. Its getting serviced some time this week, and then i can let the mods begin! Also needs a new grill, as i think someone tried to steal the badge and failed.

was that off of thingy from eastside. :) one thing this car neeeeeds, Is new plates bud. just plan ones with no border etc and stuck on with pads instead off screws. this on its own will transform it :)

Just a quick update to say that my coilovers finally arrived today! Just got to get them fitted now :tup:

Yesterday the polo went out to Paul's garage to get its wheels and coilies on, along with a service. Want to say a big thanks to Lovett for his efforts.

Really happy with how the wheels sit on the car, seem to sit more flush than i thought. AP coilovers seem to be less harsh than the Fks were on the lupo which is a bonus too. Front is a bit high atm, but waiting for them to settle before i decide to go lower.

Small update.

Over the past couple of weeks I have been smoothing off the plate recess on the front bump strip and colour coding it. First attempt using filler, and it has come out quite well I think.

Here are the pics:

Need to get some new plates made up as they are in embarrasingly bad condition, and am going to go about doing the rest of the bump strips also.

Well a couple more updates. Gave the car its first good clean and polish. Dewipered, all red rears and lowered more at the front.

Need to respray the boot handle as all the paint has come off.

Will be some camber, added a few more bits of colour coding and smoothing if i decide to keep the car.
