To start us off, my cheapest car

got a mk4 1.0 polo off here for £60 for a mates birthday

he didnt want it and couldnt be arsed learing to drive so i sold it to another mate for £65 :)

A gold big bumper mk2 golf off ebay a few years back.I won it for £25 but had to drive all the way down to hampshire to collect it tho.

I put a battery on it and drove it all the way back

i got a 1lt nova 50quid lasted a year then the head and bottom end went! lol :biggrin:

my mates mom gave me a mk2 1.6 3door. shell was mint but the "clutch had gone"..

when i got it home, the clutch cable had just come out the release arm

unfortunately she had a replacement car already!

i paid 5 pounds for a triumph acclaim once, lasted a week before i wrapped it round a tree at 70mph

My first ever polo, was given to us by a friend

£60 for a MK2 loon

got given a rover 200, 'brand new clutch but gearbox gone' so after it being delivered to my house had a quick once over and decided the box was fine, i slackened the self adjusting clutch cable off and drove it up the road - got £500 for it the same day!

my first polo and first car cost me £300 for a good runner with 70k miles and a rattle fixed the rattle with tie wraps and not problems anymore

Paid £40 for a 1.3 coupe off a south African who wanted rid as he was off home.

Ended up being £40 of tools and bits n bobs in the boot.

Gave £20 and a pair of beetle cylinder heads for it.

£25 for a vauxhall cavalier,

went halfs so £12.50 each, mate hate the alloys and swapped for his steels, changed rocker cover gasket & changed a mirror, sold for £600 ;)

i got my current mk2 for free off a guy who didnt want it on here because it ran out of MOT. It went straight through the MOT and it's mint other than the drivers wing :)

My polo, 200quid :)

Spent more fixing it than i did buying it in the first place :lol:

only had 3 cars but cheapest is my 6n polo for £320

MK2 Polo Breadvan with 50k on the clock for FREE :p

MK2 breadvan - £30. Went through an MoT on pocket change.

mk2 Bready £50 bought it and sold it wiith out takin it home and a Mk1 Polo, £75 was a little rotten

fiat punto for free ha, scrapped it straight away tho, £95 into my pocket :-)
