In which case - get the golf back!!!! 8-) 8-)

The farmer near me keeps giving me cars. Couple of saxo's with front end damage which have cost no more that a few hundred to repair and move on for £500 to £800. He just offered me a 206 which is damaged and repairable for free too which could be some serious monies

Just a bit of info on the bonnet raisers....

I made some for my MK3 in an effort to draw some extra air through the intercooler and generally evacuate hot air from inside the engine bay. Spent a while making them and then spent about an hour lining the bonnet up with em on. Got them fitted and then I taped some tassles dangling into the gap and went for a drive to see which way the air flowed. As I feared it drew air in instead of drawing it out. Basically because of all the air rushing underneath the car it creates low pressure in the engine bay, so by raising the bonnet at the back it can suck air from there instead of pulling it through your radiator etc.

I was so pissed off that I had spent so long lining them up that they are still fitted now. I haven't the heart to take them off.

Also, your heater can now suck in any fumes that might hang around your engine bay.

All in all, a total waste of time. They can look cool in a weird sort of way I suppose. Its somthing different that gives you somthing to do on a sunday afternoon.
