so do i need to take the female bit off my old stereo and wire it to the wires on my new one ?

ignore what is coming out of the car that is irrelevant as it is correct

get the loom from your NEW stereo connect it to the ISO i showed you http://exclusive-part.com/iso-f_2.jpg

join the 2 together THATS IT

plug it in to the car JOB DONE

I've attatched a picture of the wires that come out of my new stereo.

you can cut that plug off but that then ruins a perfectly good stereo loom

go to halfords or somewhere similar and get this plug

autoleads part number PC2-36-0

join it to your new stereo plug it in and away you go

you are making this more complicated than it needs to be

i have explained it as simply as possible
