My tangoed MK3

Featured Replies

Rite bought her in april for £265 with tax and MOT but i was still on a driving ban then so i started away with a project.

haven't really got any pics of her when she was standard but have a few poor quallity build pics. Most of the work was carried out by me although i did have some help from a few friends and my dad.

Sorry about the quality of the build pics.

I decided that i didnt like the fully coded bumpers coz it looked way too tacky. So i semi coded them the other day and added my clio front splitter.

Next on the list is some coileys and some cookies with a decent size tyre, not the balloons I've got atm lol. And put my AAV in temporarily (AAU now) while i gather parts for something a bit faster.

Comments good or bad. I know the colour is a bit on the controvertial side bit I love it :-D

Wasn't a big fan when it was all CC but with the half CC bumpers it looks soo much better. Lower with the cookies and you should be on to a winner!

I agree, with side mouldings it would be even better

Cheers for the comments. I agree too it looked way to plasticy before. I did think about doing the side mouldings to see what they looked like but i couldnt be assed. Ill do it sometime this week.

RAC driver are you lol.

lookin good, you got the doors on a solanoid then?

be ace with the rite wheels!

Yeah they are on a solenoid with a central locking kit, need to find some better solenoids soon tho as mine have lost quite allot of the pull they had when i first bought them. Can be embarassing when your in a car park and have to get into the boot to open your car. Works 99% of the time tho.

thats a nice colour, thinking of similer colour for my breadder!

Nice car, looks a lot better with the half coded bumpers!

Saw you coming from broadmead car park direction out of the little one way road bit with a full car, I thought christ that thing is bright at first glance then I realised it was a polo from on here

Nah i dnt really like the gt arches that much. I'm definately going to do some arch work at the end of summer, but need to get my wheels, coileys and welder sorted first. Being a student and having a project isnt good. I like the wheels they jus need a refurb and slightly smaller tyres and some spacers. They are off a mk1 scirocco.

x2

Just needs some rims with a bit of dish now

I reckon some G40 arch trims too.

Some nice wheels, lower. Jobs a good un!

Bloody hell that's ORANGE!

:-D

This looks AWESOME agreed about the half codes, so much better now, but overall this has to already be one of my favourite mk3s now.
