As chris says, its got 6n2 Colour Concept seats and doorcards but i've decided to keep the GTI gearstick and gaitor, GTI steering wheel and clock surround.

Update...

i've got the RS's back on for a bit! put them on for UD... shame my car was parked about half a mile from the show, but nevermind...

i also purchased a GTI front bumper with all the grilles, fogs, splitter and the headlight washers plus the 6.5L washer tank for an absolute bargain price of.... £50.

i'm wanting to get the paint sorted, as well as fit the new wings and bumper ASAP... probably before the next show!

Hahaha yeahhh much better dude!

Its been a few months since I updated this... again!

after UD the rims came off again and I ordered 240 stainless steel pressies from Germany...

finally got round to fitting them the other week! before on the left, after on the right.

There was a small problem with 2 of the bolts, whereby 1 stretched the thread and the other snapped... this happened whilst torquing them up! not to worry though, the company sent me a couple of spares!

before they went back on the car, they had to be tried on my mates DemiLo...

and mine was given a machine polish after they were fitted again!

and as you can see from one of those pics, I got round to fitting the GTI bumper with the headlight washers! The blue wings are also fitted and paint is next on the list!

and finally!!! AFTER 3 FUCKING YEARS, I have a notch...

I think thats all for now I think... I'll keep updating this now, I promise!

also, if a mod sees this, could it be moved to the projects bit? cheerzzzzzz!

And shes back from paint! words cant describe how happy I am with it... i've got the "new car feeling" back again! i've only got the 1 photo for now but i'll get more soon!

Mmmm, shiny flash red. Personally I'm not a fan of the vents in the wings but each to their own. Other then that, it's sitting pretty IMO.

I went to Cumbria VAG on Sunday, so Saturday was the day to get cleaning and fit some bitzzzzz.

ended up going for a wedding car effect with the masking tape...

the end result, however!

and a couple from the show... This kid is awesome. he was going round the stands getting close up photos on a phone/ipod/whatever of loads of different wheels. i managed to get a shot of him doing so! shame theres a chair in the way!! haha

cheers buddy! yeah i wasnt too keen on the colour at first because i wanted something a bit darker, but i love them now! I'm thinking of things I can do to tie them in with something though...

So this happened the other day... and i can say i didnt expect it to be so easy!

the only problem I have is i cant adjust the clock... because the GTIs have an analogue clock, rather than a digital one! easy fix though... i'm gonna take the battery off around midnight and put it back on when the clock strikes 12... then it'll reset back to 00:00!

i'm currently rocking some genuine VW roofbars but i'm not too keen... so they'll be coming off soon. i might get the paint stripper and metal polish out and see how they come up polished for the giggles!

thats about all for now... slow but steady progress!
