well, today i took a break from my revision (and the portugal match) and decided to try pandas new wheels on my car. for those who don't know, they're 16x7.5 on the front and 16x9 on the rear :) here are the results, and sorry for shitty phone pics :/.

edit: that last picture shows some slight arch gap on the rear, however the coilovers have now settled more and the tyre is sitting on the arch!

and now the parents are kicking off because they're not my wheels, there was nothing wrong with the ones that were on and they reckon its gonna be a fuck on to raise the coilovers 5mm so its actually drivable... oh and they need tapered bolts but i knows this, hence why i haven't driven it anywhere!

I've been told by afew people, including those at long life and pro-speed that the less restriction the better???

Even on a tdi.....I'm aware that you need the back pressure for a normal diesel but was told that you wouldnt for a tdi??

Edit: Just done a quick search over on the tdi forum and the turbo creates enough back pressure, they are saying the less restriction placed on the turbo by the exhaust the better.
