Image wheels are good for dishes dude, if you're struggling to find some, plus I live round the corner from Rainbow Polishing if you want anything doing there :-D

wow, over a year since I last updated this... haha. not alot has happened really! just driving it and loving it!

I bought a pair of wings a few weeks back off Ryan_221 i think his username is. they've been on my wish list for a while and these came up for £40 the pair with a transporter vent in the drivers wing and no side repeaters!

i'm now part of the 175k+ club too... thinking of a little sticker to celebrate

I managed to find a set of GTI headlights on ebay for £120 posted... winner!

I tried some Compomotive MO5's on it that were on Pandas polo for a bit... i liked it! 17s are the future on polos...

and the most important bit.... the rims! I decided against reverse mounting them, even though they'd look cool as fuck, I wanted to keep it classy! so i opted for a grey powder coat. easiest way to describe the colour is its just like nimbus grey!

tried the 20mm spacers on the front too but it caught... everywhere... on everything... so they had to come off :(

and i think thats it... if i think of anything then i'll post it

not really mate... belt needs doing like every 60k and the water pump on every other belt change.

they are notorious for cam wear so they sound tappy but i've had no problems with mine and its nearly touching 177k!

and if theres any chance the turbo is gone, walk away... someone recently told me its an engine out job to change them!

Kam, i'm thinking of keeping the standard 0.5 dishes on the front for now and spacing them out. i've enquired about air too and its not gonna be as expensive as i thought! win win!

panda was kind enough to purrr-chase me a GTI splitter (brand spankers) for me for christmas so that will be getting fitted soon! unsure of whether to start gloss black detailing just yet...
