I like the red interior, works well :) there's enough black elsewhere to break it up and contrast.

This actually looks really clean. Just a nice set of wheels now!

Notice your door seals have been done in black too. Is that just spray paint?

Needs a set of borbet A's with flat caps, they look the dogs dangleys on 6n2 gti's :)

I've got a set of wheels that are in bits at the moment ;) They should be finished by the end of the month so I'll reveal them when they're done. I do like Borbet A's on them though, wouldn't mind a set as a second set of summer wheels

The doors seals inside have been re trimmed in alcantara with the rest of the headlining indy. Just need to paint the speaker things in the doors black now which should be getting done this weekend

You can actually trim those tweeter covers Karin.

Once you remove them they come apart in little bits so you could use some left over alcantara scraps if you can get some from the trimmers.

Thanks indy, I'll think about doing that. Will probably look better than just painting them black!

Put the red 90 degree bend on after work today. Engine bay's getting there, just needs a few more things doing and a good clean! But I'm not gonna be doing too much in there this year I don't think, just want it looking tidy for now :)

Just a couple of little things today. Changed the wing mirror cover because it was a bit battered (not by me!)

Old one..

New one..

Paid a visit to the bodyshop this afternoon too ;)

And I'll be starting on my boot build tomorrow too, but who knows if that'll be finished any time soon

The BMC and red piping looks sweet.

Have you thought of cutting your engine cover? The bit that covers the pipe so that you can see it all as its's a shame it's hidden!

Cheers indy :)

I need to cut a bit off the engine cover to get the pipe to fit properly anyway so I'll see how that goes first!

Re trimmed the tweeter pods this weekend and they look loads better now 8-)

With some new tweeters

Tried to tidy up my door handles too so gave them a quick paint and put some carbon fibre stuff I've got lying around on them for the fun of it. Easy enough to take off when I get sick of it lol

really nice little finishes to a nice car, like the work you have done mate!

As above looks really tidy! Nice work

Told you the tweeters would look nice trimmed :)

Love the interior now, but that carbon has to go! Reason being is that this interior is classy, and the fake carbon doesn't fit in!

Is that the funny liquid film carbon stuff or whatever its called?

Aye I know, I'm kinda sick of it already lol. I just did it because I was thinking of doing a few real carbon fibre bits so I thought I'd try that to give me an idea of whether or not I might like it.

It will be going don't worry!

polish that manifold cover! makes the world of difference in the bay
