Pattern 16v front bumpers?

Featured Replies

I seen what looked like a genuine 16v front bumper on eBay for a very cheap £40, oh and it looked brand new and ready to spray!

As i read the description they actually were brand new, they were also described as Pattern 16v bumpers?

Iv heard this term on ere before but never knew what it meant, I'm assuming there just cheap replicas - but it looks so damm good,

anyone own a replica 16v bumper?

whats the quality and fitting like?

when you get the bumper it might seem good even though its a replica but when we have compared them to genuine vw ones the difference is unbelievable, they dont fit as good and sometimes you get a bad quality on the paint finish as they can look slightly lumpy as if they are fibreglass

I think mine is a pattern one, the grills didn't fit properly! But other than that it's alright!

I thought that might be the case,

do you have or ever owned one?

i Havant owned one myself as i don't like copy parts, i've painted and fitted a few to customers cars only when they don't want to pay for a brand new one they choose copy parts but i don't like doing them
