If i had £3495 to blow on a 4X4 this would be the one! I would love the novelty of owning this, it would get some attention at BVF lol.

daft thing is I bet it works better off road than half these "soft-roaders" people pay silly money for these days, it actually has ground clearance.

yeah normal mk2 golf synchros are about, some with just 1.8 engines in. Then there's also a g60 synchro. Fairly rare but no where near as rare as golf countrys

the only problem with them is, that the engine and gearbox actually sit at a height not that different from a normal mk2
