its a cover u put over your car tyres. its known to be quite good.

the advantage of this over chains is its easy as hell to put on as chains take some working

looks like they would jus slip even more :S

I made some out of jumpers the other week, worked a treat, got me and the milk man off the street anyway :-) took them off after that though incase they fell off and wrapped themselves round my driveshaft... But, the guy over the road bought some propper ones the day after seeing me do that, he's used them every snowy day since, says they're great.

I was thinking that but as I don't get payed unless I turn up to work and I only get payed for the time I'm there, it would have payed for itself in one day of snow if it got me to work in reasonable time.

so the answer to that it slide you way to work....

then say its too dangerous to get home and spend a few nights at work on full pay :)

I have been sliding there, it's fun, but I don't get paid for getting stuck, I get told to walk.
