sorry mate, really not feeling the look of this...think its a combination of a few things..wheels, no drop, no gti splitter...and the front bumper doesnt look quite right that smooth..maybe if the rub strip was still there....

however, I'm sure you will prove me wrong as i can see alot of work has been put into this :)

Actually really liking the look of this, espicially the green weels!

As said above a drop in suspension would set it off!

Agree with Ed on this.

The quality of the work looks top notch, but it doesn't work together.

For example, the car is all smooth, yet the aerial is still there. The roof is gloss black, but there is no gloss black anywhere else. I would personally do gloss black mirror base plates and a gloss black front splitter.

Also, please get rid of that front number plate! Looks so wrong in that position!

It's a good start though!

Btw, I recommend the Toad Cat 1 alarm. I've got the same one, boot popper on the remote and everything, it's ace.

it is quite possibly polochris's i have only just purchased it. this is how it looked when i got it and agreed got some touch up's to do but i am sure it will get there in the end!

If You Went For A Honeycomb With The Badge You'd Need A New Bonnet As The Badge Is Slightly Raised And The Original Bonnet Would Have Curved Around It !

I'm with wellse and indy on this, you need to break it up a bit, looks far to smooth, like indy said a gloss black gti splitter would look awesome along with gloss black mirrors

& maybe b pilliars. also get it lowered on some coilovers & would impove it so much IMO.

oh and pressed plates

other than that it looks like a sweet start dude, keep the updates coming!

Green wheels are a bit marmite imo, but i like the dish.

agreed on the marmite wheels! might keep them for a bit for a laugh but when i can get the funding i like the look of these 15" dish

He can cut the top of the badge to make it go straight.

DON'T get a badged grille, it ruins the smooth look your going for :)

Also, get the boot fully smoothed!

This car needs a bright interior, or even a nice black leather one for that matter, so forget the tints!

GTI splitter from VW, about 50 quid.

Then get it resprayed from a decent bodyshop. Will need rubbing down a bit first as it's slightly textured.

Don't bother trying to find a second hand one mate, you'll be wasting your time as they're quite hard to come by, and £50 ain't gonna break the bank!

I'd leave the pillars.

I wouldn't do gloss black mirrors, I'd do gloss black mirror base plates. So the bits that the mirror connects to. That's what I'm doing. You need to break the colour up, so go white, black, white. Doing the base plates gloss black but leaving the mirrors white will achieve this :)

Just get a new one, not worth the hassle or the wait for one to come up second hand.

I'm just thinking though, because you've had your front bumper fully smoothed apart from the centre grill, a GTI splitter wouldn't work, I think you should leave it as it is.
