My 6N2 Colour concept

Featured Replies

Heya guys,

I'm new to the polo world. I have just swapped my Lupo 1.0e for a 6N2 Polo Colour concept from 2001 and i am loving it.

Here are the specs, as most of you will probably know already:

2001 3 door Colour concept 1.4 16v 75bhp model

Jazz Blue

Full black and blue leather heated Recaro interior (mint)

BBS wheels as standard

GTi style body kit as standard

Fogs

Auto wipers

Auto dimming mirror

Sunroof

discs all round

electric windows

electric mirrors

12 months MOT

12 months tax

Full VW service history to match

65,000 on the clock

and a glovebox!!! :D (unlike the Lupo)

Here she is:

I love it, quite a pokey little engine and fuel econemy is awesome. Interior is something to 'die for' in my mates words.

all for £2300, is this a good price?

Will put some pics up eventually, but need to get the body work sorted first (few dinks and scrapes).

Will look forward to contributing as much to this forum as i have on club Lupo.

Any comments appreciated! :)

Cheers, James.

Cheers, decking it on coilovers is on the cards at the moment as well, but need to get some money first.

looks cracking mate i love my recaros in mine although i am having to retro fit the heated loom as mine were not fitted as standard.... i would def get looking for some 16inch rx2s.

they are hard to come by in 4 stud but because the offsets are high they need spacing to look effective so go for some 5 stud ones found on mk4 golfs and get some 4x1000 to 5x100 adapters :D

if you have the seats out any time soon, could you get a picture of the underneath for me as i need a part number for the relay that's the bit i am missing to make mine keep my botty toasty...cold leather in this weather is harsh man!

Cheers for the comments matey, they are rather nice seats aren't they, i know what you mean about the winter cold lol, especially first thing, but at least i can warm me arse up lol, i doubt i will have them out, but if i do ill let you know, feel free to PM me if you want my reg to give to your dealer and find out the part you need if you like, cause it will be in the parts list for my car surely?

I think there is a mk4 golf cabrio in my local scrappy with something like that on, will have to check it out...

Many thanks, James.

Thanks for the comment guys, very much appreciated, found some RXII at the local scrapper and they wanted £220 + vat for them and all the tyres are shagged, thiis seemed alot to me and they wouldn't take any offer, is that too much or am i being too cheap?

Cheers, James.

far far far too much.

most I ever paid for a set (I've had four sets) was 140 and that was a set of 16" 4x100 ones.

Fair enough, glad i didn't buy them them, his reasoning was they are one of the rarest sets of BBS wheels you can buy, which i knew wasn't true anyway. Seemed a bit of a nob towards anyone who was making an offer on parts when i was there, oh well carry on looking i suppose!! :D

best bet is to find a set which need a refurb and then get your hands dirty.

they are the easiest wheels in the world to do.
