I'm considering getting a used car on finance from a garage and was wondering if it is compulary to have fully comp insurance.

The reason I ask is if I was to crash the car with only third party cover I would still have to pay the finance even though I dont even have the car any more wouldnt I? :?

You would still have to pay the finance yes :)
