ok, so sticking my car up just as feeler really but will listen to any serious offers around the asking price.

car has had a full respray in dragon green pearl,last summer

every inch of every panel flatted back and buffed, and de-swirled

all 4 archs pulled and flared massivley

front bumper smoothed

debadged grill sprayed gloss black

lower grill in gloss black

black vinyl roof

de wipered rear screen

6n2 rear lamps, 16v rear bumper

budget coilovers in good condition

smoked head lights

custom one peice dtm mirrors

FULL interior retrim in red an black inc.x4 door cards,seats,roof lining,dash ,parcel shelf,

a,B,c Pillars are in crackle black

borbet A's 16x7.5 all round, freshly powder coated in gloss black, with 195/40 falkons, (SOLD)

1.9D engine with approx 120.000 miles, (will get an exact figure if anyone is intrested)

full service history up to 80k

M.O.T runs out in june

tax till march,

new exhaust back box fitted for mot

good runner, first time starter, fantastic MPG,

bad bits,

(like you can find a car without them)

the new exhaust the garage fitted is rattling for some reason, think it has fallen off a rubber, but havnt had chance to take a look yet

a little bouncy as the front is so low, would stop if raised very slightly, but i like it lol

front bumper is a very very slightly out of shape where it meets the wing, but not very noticable

and finally, the front seat need fixing down properly,carpets need painting dying black as they are grey at the mo.

THE WHEELS ARE SOLD! {16inchBORBETS}

these are all small problems, just havnt had the time to sort them.will try sort as much as i can for when and if she goes,

i would say 2k is a tad to much mate.

even if the mods cost over 2k, it doesnt realy matter :S

i would happly pay £1500 for it, if i had alot of free cash, its a show quility car!

just the engine that lets it down tbh, not bad..but not special :)

Ideal if you cover a lot of miles. My lasses one will do 600 miles + on a run depending on how you treat it.

Personally i think its worth £1500 max. Love the interior. Good luck with the sale

it is because of engine like what has been said before. think that if someone saw it in person who was interested they wuld fall in love straight away as it looks the nuts.

you can pick a 6n standard with just wheels,coilovers for round 1000 to 1500?so were do they get there prices from?

power wise its prob same as the 1.4 8v,.. :sad:

I know it's effort fella, but strip it down and return it to standard (ish)

The market for a small diesel car is far far greater than any modified scene.

I'd suggest putting it in a local paper or magazine, you'd easily get upwards of £1200 on the private market, especially with it being so tidy.

trust me mate i would butif a was guna get a loan ad get a proper loan an go all out on a show car,jus need to get rid too fund the next all tho if dnt sell will get all the little jobs done put some mint wheels on that i have already got!an spent £230.00 on tyres sort out the adptors an wham bam,she ll be minter!

I reckon if you took the interior out, put a 16v one in or something you could get 1300 or so. Then sell the interior separatly

yea i agree ,well guna get all the little bits sorted get some 1 off wheels then see some shows this yr hopefully peps will change there mindwhen they see it how it is,

lol people just dont like the diesels for some reason.

mines done 170000 and runs like a rolex but when i tried to get rid of that people just said

its too high mileage

lol tell me bout it mate ,my mates golf gti petrol!has done over 182000 an that still runs an pulls like a train its a VW at the end of the day!and his car is an PVW THIS MONTH just thought ad mention that,well its alot better than the gear box crunching 1.4's!

Nice car. I dont htink your asking too much at all. If i had the money it would be on my drive now. The only critisism i have is the Borbets look a bit too big on the car.

If you end up breaking the car please let me know first. Ill take quite a bit

not interested mate jus some input for you, nice car just think youve chose the wrong car to get to show standard, my mum bought a v plate 6n derv standard cl spec with only 17k on it for 2 grand. good luck with the sale.
