As advertised on Edition38, I have got a set of four Fox Racing alloy wheels for sale, that I've had fully refurbished - shot blast and acid dipped then powder-coated in white before being painted in a Subaru gold/bronze colour and finally lacquered - this was done in October 2008 and they haven't seen tyres or a car since then because I've kept my G60s on. Sadly one wheel's finish has been slightly damaged and a little paint has been taken off whilst the wheels have been in storage at a friend's place (close-up pictures are in the photobucket album linked below) . Otherwise they are perfect. All wheels are straight and true.

PCD: 4x100

Centre Bore: 60.1mm

Please note: I have bought and will supply as part of the sale a set of four spigot rings that will allow you to fit these wheels to a VW (60.1mm > 57.1mm). Centre caps are also included!

The spigot rings are required to fit the wheels to a VW. Have a read of this:

It would be possible to attach a wheel to a wheel hub without a correctly fitting spigot, although it would be tricky to hold in place while screwing in the bolts. This would not be advisable for another reason though. The other purpose of the spigot is to carry most of the weight of the vehicle. If it did not fit correctly all the weight of the car would carried by the bolts, which are not designed to do this. They would likely sheer off if you drove the car too hard or braked too heavily, which is obviously not good! You may also find that the wheels go in and out of balance.

Thats incorrect information , spigots are only desiged to centre the wheel, They carry NO WEIGHT.

the weight of the vehicle is held by the friction between the hub and mating face of the wheel and the bolts are to apply lateral force to acheive the friction.

Its a good idea to have them so that the wheel is centred whilst your fitting them.

I would have had them for that much if you were local. Nice wheels, just a shame there not 'scene' enough cause they look really smart on 90% of cars. Always had a soft spot for multispokes.
