Hello people, picked up my new car yesterday from Sunderland courtesy of mr Humbaz (my second car off him lol) Picked it up for just over 1200 quid!

Vehicle details:

Car - Black VW Polo MK4 (1997)

Engine - 1.4 16v AFH 100bhp with just over 72k on the clock

Suspension - TA Technix Coilovers

Wheels - Black 15" P-sluts

Brakes - Standard Valver

Ice - Sony Headunit

Exterior Styling - Peeping Pedo Bear Sticker And a Red 16v Badge, De-Wipered, Rolled Arches, Black Front And Rear VW Badges, Clear Indicators, Smocked Side Repeaters .

Engine Bay - Green Cotton Air Induction Kit + Lil Filter, Chrome Cold Air Feed, Chrome Strut Brace, Polished Rocker Cover.

Plans: My main focus at the moment is to sort all the little things out before i do anything else, few dents here and there and a spot off spraying needed then ill get onto the good stuff - Momo Team 280mm Steering Wheel, New Gear Knob, Maybe a Decat Exhaust, Different Wheels.

I cant beleive how well this car goes, so quick for a 1.4, 10x better than my old 1.6 8v 6n. even at crusing speeds its a dream to drive. Cant wait to get things started and make this a minter! Thanks to Alex for parting with his old car, ill make you proud haha. WATCH THIS SPACE!!

Update: Its only a very small one but i was bored today so i decided to paint the vw sign on the steering wheel and then i did the vw badge in the grill, i wasnt sure about it at first but now i really like it. here's some pics anyway!

Looks nice and simple Try moving the number plate to the main big grill. I found it looks alot better. IMO obviously :p

Looks good, i done my steering wheel badge quite a while ago and i still like it :)

did you jus pop the steering wheel badge of with a flathead or just paint on to it?

sorry i do know alot bout spraying and stuff but jus unsure bout this one! lol

poped it off with a screwdriver mate, and i used touch up paint

UPDATE: not a big one but done a few little things

Fitted a stubby ariel, momo team 280 steering wheel, 6n2 gearknob, and some anthrite (however you spell it) valver wheels that i swapped with robbodred with my old p-slots. comments welcome!!!

I'm thinking of having a go at the J-Euro look atm. I've got a few ideas, some nice dished rotas with abit of camber 2 start, few stickers, jap bootlid, square number plate for the front bumper. thats all i can think of atm, whats everyone else think/ideas? cheers, Olly
