i have a polo 6n2 and have just brought some bbs rz's 14inch 6.5J (i think) and offset is ET30

and i have no idea about tyre sizes, all i know is they need to be 14inch and the ones i have on at the moment are 65's and apparently thats the percentage of tyre to wheel size. so I'm guess I'm looking for something around the 40-50mark maybe?

just need a bit of guidance really, the car is low (not sure how much 50-60mm i think) and i want a lower profile tyre than i have as these scrub on the inner arch at the sides.
