I have only owned two cars

1992 bready bought may 2007 still my daily

1989 Mk2 bready bought for £30 of a mate in november 2008 sold later on in march

so thats my list

had a nova forst, crashed! (not my fault)

bought a polo gt.

my mum gave me her scirocco gt, dont drive it much though.

my ibiza, just after i had a slight bump....i really liked it when it looked like this lol....i then wrote it off into a taxi...chassis leg burst wide open lol

then my mk3 coupe....still got

and my loon....still got in 1 million peices

i find it funny how all 3 of my cars were EXACTLY the same red lol

1969 beetle, was my prode and joy. Then it became too costly to run so i sold it after running it for 6 months.

1.3 cl drove it for a year - Then got bored

Mk4 1.3 cl, had it a few weeks then someone pulled straight into the side of it :(

The gt - got ran into in the summer, went last week :(

This is in 3 years :) Should be picking up number 5 this week if all goes well

Spent 6 months and a lot of money on it, only to find the gearbox was fucked 2 days before my test. So then came the polo which currently looks like this:

And I have also had this for the last year, Its a 125, 34mm carb, pipercross filter etc. and its a fuckload faster than my 1.4 8v (probably a lot faster than a 16v too, will do 0-60 in about 6.5-7 seconds and had over 115 on the clocks)

2 Cars and haven't even passed my test yet :)

First = BMW E36 318IS Coupe. Bought this as my first car done quite a bit of work to it, had loads of fun driving it on private roads. (was about 2 months away from turning 17) Then sold it as insurance was £5000 a year

Second = Bought my valver that i have now after selling my BMW. Done alot of work to this so far but am not finished :)

Not got pics of them all but heres my list in order, been driving 8 years in april

First car 1.4 MK5 escort, had for a couple months

2nd was a suzuki swift gti

3rd was a 1.4 mk6 escort

4th was an AX GT, probs my favourite car I've owned for sheer fun

5th was a 95 mercedes c250

6th was a pug 306 diesel

7th was a pug 205 GT (basically same car underneath as the AX GT, but not as fun for some reason???)

8th was a 1.4 polo 6n cl with i had converted to a 20vT

Which then died when it was mecho-raped by a coach

9th is my early mk2 golf AKA the beige hustler (1 of 3 cars i own at the min)

10th was a another 6n, this time an SE, AKA the scarlet minx Sexual Eperiment

11th was an early polo saloon, AKA the beige hustler take 2

12th was a 1.2 nova saloon, which i converted to a 1.6 16v

13th is my German import 76 beetle ragtop, AKA on a ragga tip (2 of 3 cars i own at the minute)

14th was a seat cordoba 2.0 16v

15th is my e30 BMW 323i (3 of 3 cars i own at the minute) and the last car I've bought, might be getting another car soon though

I also had a moped when i was 16, a pug speedflight thing

And inbetween my 20vT polo and the beige hustler, i had a road legal quad, a polaris predator 500

I think thats all I've had anyway

First drove my mum's Fiat Uno Selecta

Then mk3 1.3 polo genesis, got bored of that so moved onto 1.8 mk2 golf driver.

That was costing me too much so then got a mk4 polo CL, which was written off, then a 306 1.6 which was again written off.

Replaced that with another mk4, but this time an SE which I had quite a while and put on bike carbs amongst other things. Then had to sell it so I could afford uni.

Also owned another mk2 golf and a Mitsubishi LWB Pajero both of which I never got to drive.

So 8 in 3 and abit years driving.

Now looking to get a beetle or mk2/3 polo :)

Would you guys say it is better to have owned more cars than less? I think it's good to own or at least drive loads of different cars, as there are so many different cars out there.. and you can't really have a proper opinion of one until you have tried it yourself. This is assuming you are actually a petrolhead and take an active interests in cars lol.

My parents don't seem to think so though and think I should only own one car at a time and keep it for yeeeaarrs, I've now been banned from using the driveway for anything new! :(

I'm guessing 11 in 12 years without checking. Mostly polos with the exception of 2 escorts. Not gonna list them as we've had one of those threads before.

1 year of driving and I'm still driving much much loved mk3 breadvan :-D

I give up, I cant remember all the rest. I had an astra, a micra, a subaru justy, a merc 200e, 2 discoverys, a proton compact, and a few others. Plus loads of stuff that doesent work yet like my beetle and mustang
