just done some measuring and the helper spring fully compressed and the width of the alloy spacer that also comes off with them is 35mm. so if the 120mm drop that they claim to have is like some one mentioned above (measured without the helpers) then that would mean that people claiming to be running 120mm with the helpers still in are actually only at 85mm

I've said this before, my fk konigsports claim around -100 with helpers in, I can't bottom them out without 'shaft issues, yet I've had mine a fair bit lower than all the above pictured cars and still been a few mil off the bottom!

120mm coilovers wound all the way down. No scrubbing. Only scraps lol. if am giving it hell on a back road. (haven't even bothered attempting speed bumps )

No matter what you say that is not 120mm down. The tyres aren't even in the arches!

Glad someone else is thinking it! i've had both my polos on occasion fully to the bottom of the coilovers with some major driveshaft humping action.

i'd say my current polo is only 80 - 90 mm down, and it's fooking low! another 15-20mm it would literally be on the floor.

said this so many times lads, th ecoilovers claim to be 120mm which as discussed they aren't but mine is on th e20-120mm coilovers and are wound down onto the last thread but with the helpers still in :)

it is near impossible to go down an actual 120mm without a chassis notch. I have 0-120mm coilovers wound all the way down. but i bet if i measured the distance it would be less. thats why on my post about its says "all the way down" or "thats mine on the last thread on the 120mm coilovers". as i know myself that my car isn't lower an actual 120mm form standard height. but it is all the way down on coilovers that claim to be 120mm. :)

If you understand what i mean, sounds strange when i read it back to myself but i know what i mean. lol

if you read my post on the last page i think it was, i actually measured the size of a compressed helper spring and the alloy spacer that comes out with it, and the combined height was 35mm. so if you have your coilover wound all the way down but with the helpers in you are running 35mm higher than the 120mm maximum drop, therefore you are running -85mm. which looking that your photos i would say isn't far off at all

If you notice most of the people who claim to be 120mm low also claim their ta technix coilovers are "fully adjustable" which is plain false, you can only adjust ride height which makes them ride height adjustable haha.

Also if you read a few of my previous posts I'm sure I've said you will struggle to get a 6n lower than 100mm without driveshaft issues and ARB issues.

And if you claim to have a 6n valver 120mm down then in theory you won't be going anywhere as your subframe will literally be on the deck.

Measure a standard polo on some flat gound an measure yours. subtract one from the other an you'll know how much lower you are...... imo it looks about 70 80 max.

tbh everyone should have one of these to stop the false claims.

better still, whip a wheel off an get a snap of the coily.

That won't help, we don't doubt that the coilovers are wound right down, just the 120mm bit.

Valvers are ??mm lower from the factory iirc

nah nah, u are right dude, but just pointing out that i never said an actual figure of how low i am as i personally dont know, but at a guess i think your are right about the 85mm-ish height :)

this is mine when i fitted them, height hasn't been adjusted since :)

as Mclovin said = around 85mm-ish i think if you count the helper still in etc :)
