NEXT: Boot build project underway guys! Don't kill me for putting 6x9 on the boot... they where from my 106 and its either that or its tweeters only as my door speaker went bouuummmmb.... today is just the mock-up on card box tomorrow il probably have it done.

Don't look at the speakers they where there just to make sure it would fit.. the position will be slightly different.

Looks good tbf - why not just stick them in the shelf?

I don't stick them in the shelf cause, i had them in the self in my 106... pain in the ass... they get shaky and if someday i want to take them out I'm left it a parcel cut out xD and they stand out...

Nice one it the weight saving xD, but in fact if i wanted to save weight i would get the rear seats out and not put things on the boot xD

here's a quick mock-up in wood.

Hi everyone, sry bout the absence here, having a lot of work both pro and school wise.

Have some little updates since last visit. First the boot build, the first project went out the window since it was very unstable.

Here are the pics of the current build, and don't kill me for the 6x9 their good for what I need them xD

Just got off the free-way, got to 120 with no hassle =D (I'm assuming I made the right conversion 120mph /= 200 kph) in fact it was a 210 but the gps scored 200 kph.

Without the latest air mod, it would get there but it needed more road and more throttle.

If only I could afford the coil's... need more tim€.

suggestion are welcome guys 8-)

Its looking good mate, maybe you could look to trim more of the interior with the suede? Is the hood over the dials easy to remove?

the headlights and the fabric clock surround are nice touches

6x9's inside the boot confuse me a little as theres no way for the high's and mid's to travel into the cabin properly. but the workmanship looks spot on

maybe change your standard air filter for a k&n or pipercross panel filter, should add a bit of grunt and let the air flow more freely and cleaner

the hood over the dials is simple to remove if you have removed it once, in the first pic of the hood you see a little screw, it's a torx, don't know the size now, you remove that, then you try to take only the first part off, i had to take the hole thing like you see on the second pic and snapped some plastic bits... But either way it's a matter of getting the torx screw off and then handle it til you get it out.

I plan to trim the door card with perforated leather, change the gear gaitor, custom made, and ad a badge to the steering wheel.

The 6x9 on the boot are just for filling not definition wise, but it was either that or no speakers. This way I have some sound depth. Bout the air filter I'm planning to get a K&N box filter and work the box for more air input. Next up, will be replacing the air pipe with inox pipe, since a m8 spotted my bay and said he had some inox tubing laying around the shop :D

The air filter must be a wise choice cause I don't wanna get pulled over by cops... Here in Portugal, if your car makes a little noise and it isn't a BMW an Audi or a Merc you get pulled over and "asked" to pop the bonnet... it's bout 300€ fine... plus a extra inspection to get it legal...
