The first car I bought nearly 3 years ago was my 98 5 door 1 litre Polo...it looked something like this..

It was clean, tidy and a reliable first car...it didn't take long for the dub bug to set in and I started to make some changes..I got 6n2 tail lamps, a badgeless grill, removed the bumpstrips, removed the rear polo badge and 15" BMW E30 bbs..

Then I bought some coilovers and angel eyes and decided to sell the bbs and put back on the steels.

So after awhile I decided to paint the car matt black....and a couple of Halfords spray cans later and.....

I was pretty delighted with the car after that until I bought my 2nd car, so now the Polo is looking pretty sorry for itself for a complete overhaul... I was hoping to get the bulk of the work finished this week while I was still off college but on the way into the unit I was painting the car in it decided it didn't wanna live anymore and died  so i've bought another 6n to replace it with :-D

The 2nd car I bought is my 2000 Polo GTI which is my baby and I love it, not a whole lot done to it, I blacked the front and back vw badges and removed the polo badge.

Here it is...

Unfortunately mammy smacked it into a tree a couple of weeks ago after a skid in the ice no one was hurt but the smack caused 2500 worth of damage...no pics of it like that as of yet..

Thanks for looking

Last but not least a couple of months ago I swapped a central locking kit that I got for FREE for a 1991 mk2 1.6 diesel Jetta

Its a little worse for wear right now, it makes a wee after its been driven and overheats within ten mins so i'll be getting a new engine soon before NCTing the car and also needs a new clutch, wing mirrors, boot doesnt open, broken exhaust, some broken handles and the list goes on and on and on.... here it is..

And hopefully by the end of the month I'll be getting a 1990 1.3 5 door mk2 golf its spotless and drives great...its a kind of gloss maroon colour...fingers crossed..

Thanks

Oh you and here is the replacement for my first 6n...a 98 1 litre 3dr with a sunroof...after a couple of frustrating days searching for another car to get around in I heard about a 98 1 litre polo that's been parked up at a garage for the last 6 months so I rang the owner of the garage and he laughed down the phone when I asked him what kinda condition it was in...so off I went to take a look and it wasn't as bad as the guy I was speaking to thought...to him it was ready for the scrappy but to me it was like a sad puppy that needed a new home so I took it...

Drivers door needs replacing after an attempt at a break in and could do with a full respray...it was overheating but i've spent the last week overhauling the car and ordering parts for it and so far this is what i've got...

The spec so far is:

TA Technix Coilovers

Badgless Grill

Clear Indicators and Side Repeaters

6n2 Rear Lights

Rear Polo Badge Removed

Bump strips removed

I have paid for a 16v rear bumper, I will be paying for some cookie cutters in the next few days but not sure if they will be used on this car and need to find a 16v front bumper and get it smoothed...

Thanks for reading all C&C welcome

Well my head is wrecked now it's been one problem after another..the 98 I just bought which I spent the last week sorting out what I thought were all the problems with it which were getting the radiator fan working, changing the thermostat to stop it overheating and fully servicing the car, on the way into college this morning the oil light starts flashing so after checking the oil levels and checking for any leaks it looks like the oil pump ain't working so that's in the garage now and will hopefully be fixed by tommoro!

Such a spell of bad luck lately but I'll keep trying to get it finished and I'm looking into getting a 16v conversion soon so any advice would be great :D
