1990 corrado 16v black

Featured Replies

I bought this about a month ago because i need a car to drive this year to oxford and back, and it's much more suitable than the 1300 golf. Since then i found a cheap 16v mk2 to convert my car to a more suitable engine, hence the sale.

Its a 1990 black corrado 1.8 16v non sunroof model, it's done 113000 miles, and has some service history to back it up, and some reciepts etc. It's lowered on springs/shocks and has unusal 15x7 BBS that i havn't seen before, it looks very nice when clean  . Currently has no MOT or Tax.

It has power steering, central locking and electric windows. The spoiler works as it should.

The bodywork overall is good, i cant see any rust. It has a couple of grazes on the rear bumper which wouldn't be too hard to sort out.

I replaced the brushes and voltage regulator in the alternator when i bought it, gave it fresh Fuch 10-40 oil and filter, and a fresh set of Bosch spark plugs. It will come with a set of front brake pads that i was going to fit but havn't got round to.

Not so good points,

The exhuast has a blow, the handbrake isn't upto much, there is usual wear on the drivers bolster and the headlining material has dropped a bit but some spray glue should sort it.

As i said, i would be keeping it if i hadn't found the golf as with little work it could be a good reliable car. Now i need the space on the drive...

Looks like an absolute bargain to me mate, gl with the sale!

Manual overide so you can clean under it etc

You don't have to be going over 40 odd mph for it to be up.

Forgot about it being on here,

I bought it just before christmas intending to start using it in March, havn't got round to getting it done yet and i'm back to uni in the next couple of days. I want it gone before then really so i can concentrate on the engine swap that i have decided to do in my Golf when i'm back at Easter.
