Comments:

I've owned the car for a year and a half now. i bought the car by just having a look on autotrader and saw it was 15miles away so i thought ill take a look, when i got to the garage (small car company in cheltnam) i was greeted by the folder of service history from tyres and wipers to gearboxes and panel resprays, the history was mint :-D

it smelt brand new inside and was a local car from new (hereford) so it has been in the area all its life and it was owned by a women.

i then took it for a drive wich from a 1.3 8v mk4 polo to this! there was a reall differnce.

i loved the car and wanted it really bad. so i got my dad who works for the aa to come check it all over and there wasnt one problem :-)

i then went home and spoke to some loan companys, got the loan and got the car from 3699 to 3200. BARGAIN!!!!!!!! 8-)8-)

i was 18 at the time and wouldnt get insured so used the 6 months i had to prep the car and make it pristine! :-) for months on end i was constant waxing and polishing untill it was mint!

pepole around my area had allready started chating about what the car was as barry had never seen one before, didnt help that it was under a cover on my drive lol

so its all clean and I've allready organised my insurance from the 9th of jan (my b-day,19) as of 12 midnight i will be able to drive it :-D :-D £155.98 a month tho fully comp

so the 8th of january comes and my gf is in the house and i say I'm guna go mess with the car its 11.55pm, it was a lye! as soon as 12.00am came i was gone  after 6 months of waiting and sitting in the gti wishing it would come quicker it was here!! i went straight to bp and put £20 of ultimate in and let the fun begin!!!!!

nearly a year down the line the car is near complete :-) a year of the polo gti and it hasnt let me donw once! i love the car to bits and wouldnt change it for a thing!!!!

hi and welcome... thats quite cheep for your age and a 1.6GTi.

did you notice in the first pic there is a colour difference between the front door and the rear door? i have the same.. (it's a newer pannel)

on the last but one pic whats that thing hanging from underneath the cup and coin holder?

i see you have front camber... how are you liking it too.. I've done it to mine and it feels awsome, and looks great.. i find i dont go thru so much tyres as people say... just seems normal.

yea i think the last owner bumped it lol,the thing hanging down is a poppy coral airfresner lol saves me having things dangling about but i still do anyway

the front camber is ok in the dry but when its wet i have MAJOR understeer and the tires do seem about the same to be honest i swap them from front to back when they get low 8-)

I've had the camber now for 2 months... since I've lowered it.. and I've not tracket it yet neither.... so i have neagative toe and camber... ITS but clenchingly scary! i was actually driving like they do on american driving films,, where they sway the wheel left and right all the time.

I'm to do that ha..

is your name Jack by any chance?
