Could someone tell me if the 16v and the GTi front bumpers are the same? I need to get a new front bumper for a 16v and have found a new GTi one and would like to know if all the grilles from the 16v etc would fit it.

A 6n 16v bumper is not the same as a 6n2 gti bumper if thats what you mean...

I have the same bumper as this one, and I've found this one on ebay. So are they the same bumper? Is the bumper on my car and the one on AT an optional extra then, or is the one on ebay a 16v bumper not a GTi item?

Thats a pattren made 1 its Is and it is not as they did a 6n GTI but it never came over here so to us its a 16v bumper, but yer its the same as what you have got yes

Same bumper, badly listed primer part. Basically they did a GTi in germany but not over here, so technically it would be a GTi, 16V and SE front bumper but they've probably listed it just as the GTi so that people buy it specially for that reason :)
