here we have my dads 1961 vw beach buggy it took about a year to build and was finished on the 22nd June 2009

it has tax till 05/2010(tax exempt) and mot till 22 june 2010

its short wheelbase and the shell is a gp mk2.

hasnt been drove very much since building it i recon less than 500 miles

its a 1600

THE GOOD POINTS

basically every thing to do with the brakes is brand new

discs pads hoses calipers drums

tax free

floor pans are all new

front beam is new with adjusters

good tyres

good 1600 engine runs great

stainless steel fuel tank

bucket seats

NOW THE BAD POINTS

head lights could do with replacing they are cracked

for some reason the alternator is over charging the battery

paint is flaking at bit on the front aswell

speedo don't work(doesn't read the correct speed) and the fuel gauge isn't wired up

has got some standard beetle wheels on front which could do with painting, but will chuck in the rims what are on in the photos but wont have any tyres on them

i have a golf driver down on the log book as a 1.3 it but it has a 1.8 8v

it needs a paint.it has a weber carb, full stainles exust an mot an tax till october . and i hav a project 67 golddy sliding sun roof bug shell its on a pan it has like the beam and doors + windows bint boot its rare bug i hav not sent off for the log book yet as the chap i had it off said he would send it off . if intrested giv us a ding on 07985218698 andy
