i take it the sound system wouldnt add anything to it?

Depends on your company's own views on what constitutes a "mod"

I'd expect as much as £200-300pa extra

Most policies include up to £250 audio equipment cover-standard or not- but check your paperwork

best to ring up and ask before ordering any mods as it might bump it up alot... quinn dont care about "cosmetic" mods... they only care if its performance enhancing such as coilovers or engine mods... just give them a ring and they will tell you over the phone mate =]

I've just rang adrian flux to cover mine - all mods declared - £550 fc :)

As said, best ring them up and check as insurance prices fluctuate quite alot so its hard to give a definiative answer.

For a start take out your own policy cos if you mod it they'll see you're blatently fronting. With tesco i expect those mods will increase the premium a lot! Unfortunately that's life at 18, gotta pay out if you want to mod it!
