well its a bit of a sorry state at the mo but heres my gt. had it about yr n half after buying off a mate with a hankering for a suzuki sj! already had susp with adjustable rears like philj kits, exhaust, de badged grille clear ind and 15inch team dynamics multi spokes . I swapped these for 14inch alfa revo's on 195/45 :-D (facoured this setup) with matt centres and it looked respectable with arch/sill trims and i was content

new top mounts and golf master and copper re-line. engine wise it got top end refresh and t/belt all fluids an filters,plugs, blue temp, loom re-taped, golf gti afm + k&n, de-wedged tb and i rebuild the correct dizzy (p) with hall sender from cl! you can see the forum faq influence so cheers guys who knew all that, invaluable!

Next up I de catted it, looks almost factory!

shotblasted backplates and the tank and axle got a coat for winter :roll

It now sits on steelies awaiting me to weld the sill/floor what happened here i think was dropping off a kerb in a low car dents sill=rot creep in and has it crept! front trims bent but you can get these separate so not all doom n gloom. the n/s sill is fine and a pretty clean genuine gt so I want to get on with it and not break it! theres alot of tidy cars about here so i need that push to get it done then a few more tweaks!

Also got a pair vw2 calipers bonnet struts and gti coil mod to go on and so far one ten hole 14inch vento steel, hmmm uni-polo wouldnt work?!
