Had an audi r8 in work today for a puncture and couldn't find where to jack it anywhere so had to send him on his way anyone ever looked???

If you have an Audi R8 in front of you and you want to jack it, why not do it the usual way?

If they couldn't find an obvious jacking point, they weren't going to jack it and risk damaging the car somehow resulting in the owner wanting it to be repaired.

Wouldnt it state how to jack it in the owners manual? Does it come with a spare wheel?

It may be an R8 but the basic principle is the same as any other car. So there should be two jacking points on each sill, if there isn't anything visible there should be an accessable suspension mounting point or something which can support the weight of the car if jacked up.

TBF I wouldnt be surprised if you couldnt get to the sills or the suspension due to an undertray type thing.

Well get it taken off then, Audi must have to do it so no reason why another garage can't.

I would imagine there being a cap you can remove to get to a jacking point

On a serious note, watch the advert - they're using a post lift, and if you look closely, you'll see the 4 points where the car sits on the lift. They even give you a couple of obliging closeups ffs:
