Checked the video over a few times and nope the word police is not on the car anywhere.

Id say its actually a private security firms car.

Whenever I've seen recent Beemers used, they've had Police along the door bottoms and the bonnet in none-reflective.

It's got blue and yellow retroreflective on the sides, which is reserved colours for police use.

So you guys seriously believe that there isnt a legitimate excuse in the world that could explain this?

Dont get me wrong, I think they probably are just tossing it off, but it could well be legitimate.

What time is shift change normally at? I know its quite early as all the night shift coppers round here go for a brew at the travelodge at the end of their shift. Is it not plausable that they could be at the end of their shift, but after a busy night catching crims they want to catch some sleep before driving the car back to base.

OR, perhaps they chased some crims for miles up the motorway, spent hours doing whatever they were doing which over ran their shift. They probably have to take a break every 3 hrs or so of driving anyway.

Like I said though probably just lazy dicks.

you have a point, but i am a retard :)

With my imagination on a high tonight, there are many explanations

Like something was going down and they where gassed whilst sat in the car

You just don't know do you

There are millions of reasons this could have happened besides them just falling to sleep.

But yes the most likely reason is that they fell to sleep.

Use your imagination people

driving without insurance is against the law, just becausme they police the law dosen't mean they don't have to obay it

Unless they're claiming an excemption?

They must have cover of some sort, but I know they can drive pretty much anything. I've seen them on those shows on sky, stopping cars for no insurance then a copper jumps in and drives off with it.

think thats only traffic cops, they're an 'elite unit. which'd prolly explain why you never see any footage of people escaping.

think thats only traffic cops, they're an 'elite unit. which'd prolly explain why you never see any footage of people escaping.

the reason you don't see footage of people getting away is because they want you to think its imposible to get away from them. Which is far from true

EVEN if they are off shift and there is still no reason to be asleep at the side of the road. They should be back at the cop shop, peoples opinion of the police as a whole isn't great and sleeping at the side of the road (even if its genuine) is doing nothing for public popularity. Most cops that I've encountered do a good job but it takes two idiots to fall asleep at the side of the road to fuck up the hard work others put in.

Why do the police have BMWs these days. They have an X6 up our way, surely the most pointless and expensive vehicle the police could use? I can see why they'd use something like a 5 series touring if they insist on using a BMW. But an X6? Whats next, Z4s for summer?

am i the only person who thinks the sledging thing is not on?

i thought the sledging thing was good, it showed a personal side to the feds, anyone that gets annoyed at that needs their head shaking, they are just normal people at the end of the day, you dont go mad if your bin men take a rest, or slow etc

or go moaning saying "haven't YOU GOT BINS TO CLEAN"

like heartagram said, police are already not liked as a whole, but it doesnt mean we automatically become their boss

Police cars will be insured like most fleet vehicles I should imagine, and that is where the car/company has a policy that covery anyone to drive that vehicle.

Power nap.

 genius

lol i know that for a fact cause of the squadron of youves on stolen 400s that keep flying about up here. and the local dealery type man in his battered cav gsi.

no idea what you said above

he was agreeing that it wasn't imposible to get away from the police. He then used the local lads riding around on stolen 400cc motor bikes and his local delivery driver as examples of people getting away from them.

Hope that clears things up a little dk?

i couldnt agree more i hate police in the am, got pulled on ma mum push bike at 3am in the morning slightly stoned in shorts and t-shirt, they kept me there for about 40 mins askin me questions then gave me a ticket, the worst thing was it was an unmarked vehicle and when i saw the car headlights coming from about 300m away i pulled onto the curb, they then slowed down and drove next to me for about 20m so i began bombin it thinkin i was gonna get jumped, they flew passed me and handbraked up infront of me nealy makin me crash due to my mums happyshoppers crappy brakes. they thought id nicked the bike and did a body check then spent the next 30mins watchin me shiver asking my adress where id been where i was going etc, once i had given em all ma details and shit they asked if they could ring my mum at 3am and i told them she was in devon which she was at the time, they then said i was lieing and said they would take the bike and my mum would have to go and collect it. i told them where to go and they just watched me walk of. COCKS!!! all cos they where board!

Let me get this right...you were out on your mums push bike at 3am and stonned

see the cops coming towards you and try to peddle away from them as fast as you

can and you think they were being "cocks" for stopping and searching you...i'm fooking

glad they stopped you mate, proves,to me,that they are doing what they get paid for.

You don't think it would appear to be just a bit strange to the cops mate...

I was on drugs looking well shady riding a bike in the freezing cold, under-dressed in the middle of the night and the cops pulled me over. I had no real reason for being out and gave (despite being true) what sounded like the most far fetched/convenient story in the world.

They eventually believed me and gave me a ticking off and sent me on my way. I then decided to come on the internet and make out like I told the cops to 'go stick it'. They were obviously really scared of me as I am mega-hard so let me go.

If there was some druggy roaming the streets round my house chances are hes up to no good, especially in the middle of the night. If the cops drove past and didn't question him then I would be asking some serious questions.

:some kind of epic face-palm your a cock smiley:
