6n 'Airbag' Steering Wheel Boss..

i've got a 1996 6n, with a drivers airbag, and a pass. airbag, and i'm looking to buy a boss kit for the Momo/OMP wheel i have.

i phoned Awesome GTI about the boss they sell and i was told i need an airbag resistor to go with it to trick the car into thinking the airbag for the drivers side is working fine. Will this effect the passengers airbag?

any info on fitting this resistor or anything else i need to know about this?

pictures would obviously be huge help!

as far as i understand the resistor acts as a loop when you replace the bag so tricks the car into thinking its still tere so in a crash the other bag should still go off :)
