Sure theres alot of you out there -90mm down on a mk3 polo and the rides not too good, well these are standard size so fit into a normal strut and the piston has been shortened to suit a 70-90mm drop. Ride quality will improve, and they rebound top adjustable like the coilover units. Brand new - £210 delivered.

You would fit these instead of the front shocks you got with the lowering kit.

They are to improve the ride quality if you are really low.

Can you get some front shocks that are reasonably cheap? Around the 100 mark

I'm thinking off making a set of homebrew coilovers soon..

I'm going to be down 80-90 mm what Lb rated and length springs would you say to use to suit these shocks.

Gas, and yeah I'd rate them on par or I dare say better than the Koni's. Same damper as what is in their coilovers, and they are very good. I can spec the piston length to suit your springs too, they don't have to be for the -80mm...
