Wooly's 9n SE project

Featured Replies

VW polo 9n se

..1.4 running at a whopping 75bhp

Suspension: Eibach pro streets

Brakes: stock

Wheels and Tyres: standard Audi pepperpots with lower profiles

Exterior Styling: A few small mods; debadged letters on rear, rear dewipered, fog lights, 9n3 tailights, painted badges.

Interior Styling: Dash cubby! plus, got rid of the radio and CD combo and replaced with a new headunit and cubby.

ICE and Security: Fusion CA-IP500 (with built in IPod dock), Ground zero midwoofers and tweeters running off a Hifonics 200w amp, and some kinda mutant 12" sub..chepa off a mate!

Plans: Right, i have plans for the car and i have dreams for the car :-p, I'm a student so funding a project car such as this is quite expensive :?

but my plans are to get some pressed euro plates, colour code the bump strips, smooth off the front bump strip and maybe fit out a soound system.

Dreams for the car, would love some coilies :-D and some new deep dish alloys/polished steelies, maybe a slight tint round the car and a black roof :-)

Anyhow heres a few pics on how it stands now:

Thats it for now but hopefully get a few more pics up soon :-)

Well I got my debadged grille of a mate who got one of the many of Ebay! ..when you get it they provide a metal semmicircle insert to put in replace of the dink :-D

..I'm just waiting to get mine painted red to fit it.

Alternatively you could go extreme and get a plate welded into it :? but thats alota work for that.

Off to uni in a month, was really gonna go all out on this project but i cant afford to insure a 1.4 if I'm not workin

gonna sell it to the mother ha.

So lookin to down grade to a lupo or 6n, 1.0 or 1.2?

any opinions??

for one i would say get the 6n they are easy to mod and look the bollox if done well, and secondly anychance letting me in on the secret on getting the 9n3 lights to work on your car i fitted some on mine but the sidelights didnt work!

  • Author

yer agreed :) after much discussion i may keep the 9n and do a few smaller mods.

Yeah sure ..messed with this for ages, and i did note down what wires went where so will find it out for you, ut once they were working all lights worked apert from the fact when my sidelights were on the both rear lights lit up the fogs :? lol,

And a tip fo getting the clips out is if you look they are sorta like arrowheads (those clips that go in but dont come out). Jam two paperclip ends either side through the hole and theyll pop out :D
