open air problem =(

hi! obviously with the weather I haven't been usin my roof, but i wanted to open it last week just to fit something in the car and discovered it wont open, it will move like half an inch and wont go any further =( so i just shut it again and left it till i got some ideas. was just wonderin if anyone could shed some light on it?? if its fuse, frost maybe?? a dunno just tryin everything really. help would be much appreciated, cheers people =D

you have posted in the wrong section, i have moved it

check the hydraulic fluid wherever that is kept on one of these.

if you take the interior light unit out, then the motor is above that, there should be a manual crank clipped into place which will let you wind it open or closed.

maybe worth checking that and testing if its the motor or the mechanism that has busted..

Yeah my open air has got the leaky affect at the minute =( right I've took the interior light out to find some one has already done me the pleasure of snapping the metal handle off inside the manual wind. By the way there is still movement and noise in the motor just no magic happenin with the roof =( if anyone else could give me some info it'd be much appreciated. Cheers

Good luck getting it sorted out. mines done the same since I've owned it (but only one side moves), asked around a few times and no one seems to know the fix :( let me know if you sort it out
