As i had Dilz old polo before... i sold it (biggest mistake ever!!) and have now got another polo bought off Ants on here...

It came with FK coilovers, Bonnet bra, 16v rear lights, chequered roof, black angel eyes, mk5 gti wheels, clear indicators, debadged grill etc etc.

First off was to change the colour of the wheels.

Not the best spray job but i didnt have much time, and its only untill i get a set of steels banded!

Then i added 6n2 rear lights bought off here again.

As i loved the smoothness(sp?) of my old polo, i decided to go out and find myself some 16v bumpers!! And had no luck finding any in my area at all... But then i found a cheeky little valver hiding in a local breakers (the staff didnt even know it was a valver!!) and it just happened to be silver also!!

Firstly i fitted the rear (soon i will smooth the towing eye out...)

Then also in the snow... i braved myself to go out to my shed and start smoothing my front bumper before i put it on!!!

I plastic welded a peice from the rear 8v bumper onto the front, fibreglassed it, and filled it, not forgetting extra resin and lots of layers of stopper to fill any pin holes... (i have hundreds of pics of the progress but heres a few!)

The number plate recess is not perfectlly straight yet, but when it come to having the car resprayed i will finish it off...

I took the rear wiper off, and filled the hold on the plate...

I'm going urban camo on the inside (i think?) so started off by doing the A pillars

Also i welded the boot handle and badge up, and filled them.

Also i removed the chequers off the roof resulting in laquer coming off with them lol...

Near Future plans...

Banded steels like i had before (polo steels 13") all to 8.5j

smooth rear tow eye on bumper

smooth wing indicators

smooth handles (mabe)

smooth cills

smooth petrol cap (the little bit poking up)

smooth washer jets and re locate in scuttle panel

6n2 gti splitter

and lots and lots more!!

Looking good man! I`ve been hoping to get a look at your motor since the roof spoiler thread buddy. I`m liking the idea of colour coding it, but have kind of come to like it in black now and as I dont have your paint skills I`m better off looking for a lid without it in silver!

Yeah the snow was a cold one! But i had to crack on with the jobs lol!

Yeah the spoiler is off now mate... i highly recommend you buy a new boot lid, as i had to chistle it off!!!! Leaving lots of glue and dents...

The towing eye smoothing can be a pain in the arse, but, i guess its a price you have to pay for smoothness? lol.

You know you smoothed the boot handle

How did you install the solineod kit

I need some help
