Hey guys..finally sold my Seat Leon FR and purchased my very first VW!!!

introducing my little 1.4:

had a bit of a detailing sesh! removed the rear wiper and changed the drivers door handle as the original one was flaking! progress is being made, slowly!

cheers mucca..its definately a pristine blank canvas to work with..I'm in a pickle with what wheels at the mo. id love schmidt th lines but i dont think i can afford that much wonga! they will be 15's either way

Nice blank canvas to make your own. Amazing what a difference a good detail makes too

I'm undecided on the remaining grey trim because i dunno how to overcome to sunroof cover..i might do everything black apart from the sunroof control unit and the sunroof cover..

its easy peasy to get it out and do just bloody time consuming and arqward to trim without any creases

because to retrim it properly would mean removing it and doing it right. and to remove it i think i need to remove the whole sunrrof mechanism and its just not worth it

nah once you have the rooflining off mate there is 2 caps on the end of the runners, just pull them off and the grey lid bit will just slide off :)

not difficult, just time consuming trying to get it around the sunroof and the sunroof control! theres a few creases but its pretty good! gagging to get the coils on!

fitted the GTI splitter today and my drivers side stubby mirror has come too which i am in the process of painting...coilovers going on this thursday, cant WAIT!!
