looking for a thread on how to fit these onto the lower models..have searched but cant find a "how to" guide

isnt that for the 6n? i remember reading somewhere that the 6n2 just slot into place..could be wrong though..is there a walkthrough lurking somewhere?

Thats what I meant, they will either slot straight in or need self tappering. If they just slot in do you really need a guide?

Don't get any drills out.

Take the old original splitter off, and replace it with the new one. It's a straight swap! You need to make sure all clips are in tightly otherwise it won't reach all the way round.

its a straight swap, obviosuly there the same car and have the same bumpers. unclip your old one off and clip the new one in, be warned its bloody tight to do it! best taking your bumper off!

I never said you were wrong.

If the clips don't line up, then it isn't a reason to get the drill out, it just means that the clips aren't located properly or not fully clicked in, so it just needs taking off and re-clipping slowly.
