Got some ideas on the interior i want for the coupe when she's got her new shoes and engine,

I'm thinking semi stripped with some nice GT seats or Golf seats.

And then a little touch by me maybe some custom door flat door cards and custom speaker mounts.

Another thing i want to try would be to dismantle the trim that holds in the heater dials and drip paint all over them.

Seen it on here or loads of stuff like wheels and welshmarty's cam cover.

how hard was it to make the bases, did you do it yourself, n what about the back seats??

I didnt weld them personally. But its not too much of a big job if you can weld.

Just box section to make a square then bolt the ford runners to this fabricated frame.

The fabricated base doesnt move. that is located in the mk3 runners on the chassis and are prevented from moving about by latching in at the front (how the normal mk3 seat is held in)

Rear seats are just mk3 ones retrimmed.

Yes they are, rocco seats, mk1 golf seats, mk2 golf seats (but the sit quite high) early caddy seats too.

iirc the bit u pull up to slide forward is the wrong side on mk2's...

only on the earlier type mk2s.
