Last week, went to look at a middle aged womans daily driver...only to find out it was a GT. Ideal, so today, handed over a few sheets and became the owner of this indian red Mk3. :-D Its had a bit of work done by a son or something, and one thing or another happened and it never got finished...theres a few choice mods on it, along with some standard stuff like GT steelies with brand new tires, even came with a years MOT.

only bit of rust on it, and i need to loose the ariel.

mint interior with no rips or anything, union jack carpets ahaha.

bonnet is fair stone chipped and stuff, so a touch up is needed i reckon.

So far thats it, won't be insured untill the end of the month on this one, its in my garage at home in stoke, whilst i live in derby for uni. Hoping to get a few things done before UD, but we'll see what happens...

i want to get rid of the side strips and get some nice wheels, maybe steffan bcw's if i can find a nice enough set. Its dropped about 40mm a reckon, so that might have to be sorted out, funds permitting. If anyones got any 14 x 7/8's for sale, send me a pm! nice one For now, its just gettin a good wash and detail, get all that moss and stuff off it and it should be good to go. Can't wait to go clear it's pipes out on the backroads!

Going off topic a little bit but how much is a GT worth, the prices seem to range from like £400 all the way to £2000, as you can tell I'm rather new to polos lol

Taking advantage of old ladies is the best way hahah.

GT's usually range from anything from 250-1200, wouldnt pay anymore than that unless its like a full blown show car or ridiculously mint low miler.

i need to find some shoes for it! my mate from back home reckons i should check out this engineering company in stoke, banding wheels for dirt money...dunno tho. I think it need something a bit flashier to pull off the 1994 skimmed boot ahah.

yeah cheers man, i love that G40! theres another car i've looked at aswell, a silver 1.0l someone off here did. looks plush. i'm on the hunt for some wheels and a badgeless grill at the moment. Gonna go and work on it on sunday, blank off the ariel, wash it etc.
