14 x 6 JDM Black Racing BR-R 3 piece splits, ET 38 front, ET 14 rear, 195/45 contisports all round, now lowered 80mm up front, and around 50mm on the rear. feels like the car will break before it looses grip, right fun.

See, what happened is... someone told me the track was 24mms narrower out back than the front, so i got them made to that size. I had to mod the bolts aswell as they followed on the inside of the drum. When it was all bolted up with the wheels on and everything, i had an pretty good stance for a mk3, but my arches needed so much work...and i had to raise it. i should of opted for smaller spacers (or tyres, but i was skint) in all honesty. Doesn't matter now i'm back on steels tho, looks better than it did without them.

MOT on wednesday.

i wouldn't say poke, but it sits alot better than that mad small track they have standard. sits pretty nice on oem size alloys...i.e et38 6j, cuz in essence it makes the rears et 14, i got 195/45s and rolled/cut my rear arches and it still catches over bumps at speeds on the motorway and if i boot it down lanes...

I still keep Gt steelies on my favourite wheel list, In a nice colour that is.

they're GT ones, i'm not a great fan of their design to be honest, i was running trims...but one night i got wasted and stuck them on jons banded steels for a laugh, then i never put em back on. I'm gonna get some baby G60s off a passat or golf 3, paint them a nice colour and put my 195/45/14s off the splits on them. After MOT. engine work.

give us a couple of weeks to pass mot and source those other steels and i'll pm you dude. they've got brand new tyres up front, which in all honesty can take a hammering, even if they are kuhmos. and sub 2k tyres on the rear, some rubbing tho.
