trying to fit my aftermarket h/u into my mk3 polo coupe, only problme is i just have wires behind the dash, no plugs,

i have some iso plugs ready to be connected but not sure on what goes where,

behind dash i have these wires

BLUE/GREY

BROWN

BROWN/RED

BLUE/WHITE

RED

RED

BLUE

BROWN/BLUE

BROWN/WHITE

on the headunit i have

YELLOW

BLACK

ORANGE

DARK BLUE

RED

WHITE

BLACK/WHITE

GREY

GREY/BLACK

please could someone just point me in the right direction, any help will be greatly appreciated,

BLUE/GREY = illumination connect to orange on stereo

BROWN = earth connect to black on stereo

BROWN/RED=ignition key sense not needed

BLUE/WHITE=speed pulse not needed

RED= permanent 12v supply (check with a meter first) connect to the yellow on the stereo

RED= as above

BLUE = aerial remote connect to the amp remote on stereo

BROWN/BLUE speaker negative

BROWN/WHITE???

on the headunit i have

YELLOW

BLACK

ORANGE

DARK BLUE

RED

WHITE front left speaker +

BLACK/WHITE front left speaker -

GREY front right speaker +

GREY/BLACK front right speaker -

ammended for you

you will also need to run an ignition live from the rear of the fuse box or steering column to the red wire on the stereo

the cars ignition live will be a black wire

so if u get a feed from the igntion and connect to the black on the head unit it should work ?????? i hate wiring :@::@

no the black is the earth connect this to the brown wire on the car

you need to run a feed from the black on the ignition switch or the rear of the fuse box and connect this to the red wire on the stereo

ok I've theres a black on the ignition that gos to my imoboliser can i get a feed of that

theres a brown with red stripe wire coming from the ignion I've tryed connecting it to that but no luck and i carnt find anywere to get the feed theres like 8 black wires :@

could i get a feed from the black wire to the cig lighter cheers

i did tell you not to use the brown red as that is just a key sense and the stereo will not work with the engine running off that

if the cigarette lighter only works with the ignition on then yes you can use that

i dont no if it work its all taped together some cowboy hs done the immboliser its all wires everywere sorry to be messin u about pal ime shit at wiring dont have a clue

sorted it all just no sound the speakers have had it so ime gonna get some new ones

got it all workign, cheers, only problem is, where do i wire the drivers side speaker upto? got the passanger one wired up but where do i put the drivers side wires? as soon as i put them anywhere the passanger speaker starts to go fuzzy,
