The goverment say slam it until there isn't any arch gap! :-D

Didn't it come slammed when you bought it from witherz?

I have done a search and it seems there is no law on ground clearance...how can their be? Its constantly changing.

You measure a standard 6n Polo's ground clearance and find its 130mm unladen...get a fat guy to drive it and that clearance will decrease by a good few mm.

if it's so low that it's scraping the road can't they do you for damaging a public highway or some shit like that? or is that just some bullshit that some one made up?

i now if the car starts grounding it fails the mot not a law but as good as i suppose

I've had a few mates have their car impounded for their cars being too low. I dnt know if there is a law about it but if a copper wants to be a knob about it they can be.
