As the title reads is it possible to use mk1 golf rear coilovers on a mk2 breadvan. Had a search but nothing definetive really.

Just make sure you don't have a properly soft front end and stiff coilies at the rear. Well, unless you like a stiff rear anyway.

They do fit but are a bit stiff...can be resprung with lighter springs though.

Thanks the info, much appreciated. Stiff will be helpful due to 7" classics on the rear.
