i have a MK3 Golf 1.6cl in a mauve colour.

it has been sitting since October since the cambelt snapped and since then I've aquired a MK4 Polo so haven't bothered to get it fixed, i have got a new cambelt kit and a water pump which is still in the box. all that is needed is a new head to go on unless you want to replace valves. because no doubt there fucked. You can pick up a recon head for around £80/£90 from local scrappy if not cheaper.

MOT and TAX has run out.

I'm debating to get it fixed and get tax and a fresh ticket or to sell it as it is to someone willing to fix it or just strip wheels, springs, lights, backbox and weigh it in.

So if anyone is interested in the WHOLE car drop me an offer. i can only refuse.

Body work is pretty good although a few scrathes and a small dent in bootlid. no rust just needs to be fixed and you have a nice motor.

Well if I look at the money I have spent I know I'm gunna have a loss, but I'd rather sell to someone who is willing to fix rather than me stripping. Considering what the parts are worth I'm just going to take offers because if you can fix it yourself it's a cheap jobby. Just throw me an offer

I do have a figure in mind, and i'm sure you do to. I would be happy with 800 as it is to compensate for the money I've spent. Your turn ? Lol

well its actually at a garage now getting looked at, the mechanic has found valve damage and is looking into it, but i haven't yet told him I'm not fixing it, so probably late next week or 10 days time.
