I would have to agree with a lot of the things that they say. I think the golf looks rubbish and the way it has been done makes it even worse. If they took the time and did it properly I wouldn't still understand why they did it but I would appreciated that its been done well. That's just bodged.

Lol, one of those guys seems really narrow minded. He thinks every modification to a car should be for performance , sounds like a stuck up p***k.

Is there any point in modding a 1.4/1.0 for performance reasons, without shed loads of money it will not be quick and i just couldn't see sense rather buy a car ready for track use then mod that.

ford = rusty pieces of shite, i wouldnt go nowhere near that far with camber and tbh i wouldnt own a mk1 golf,but thats my opinion. Modifications arnt all about perormance either just roll low and slow

tbf old skool ford's own VW any day of the week

and any one that criticizes ford for being rust buckets should look a little closer to home before slinging mud. mk1 golfs love the rust, as do mk1 sciroccos , infact any thing mk1 based for that matter, then theres the mk3 golf, and don't even get me started on mk4 polo's

I think it looks rediculous tbh as a laugh and a show piece fair enough but not a road worthy vehicle! Lol but that's my opinion entirely!

On to what they are saying about the vw scene, eyeliner etc! That's the most narrow minded comment I've heard! I don't think that euro is a cliche I think it what suits vws etc, for instance a euro escort would look utter bollocks! As would a sierra saphire! They all suit different type of modding! And most vw owners aren't bothered about speed because were Just not bothered or into that! If we were we'd buy faster cars or mod them more etc lol

This proves that when we all think the vw scene is full of hater, were wrong! It's man kind that is full of haters!

The guy that said people with vws are gay! I find that rediculous! I own a vw and I'm giving his mum sister and wife the bone behind his back while he shafts his rs turbo, how am I gay lol

At the end of the day, in the VW scene, it's about being unique. Seems in the ford camp, every car looks exactly the same and goes fast. How boring :(
