chips gone very quite now

Chips are down

I am so so sorry for that :-(

Seeing as VW owners are 'hitler loving hippies', what does that make ford owners,

I'm sure Henry Ford was a nazi as well.

It's true. Whilst sitting in the grass smelling of petiole oil I had a moment of "clarity" and realised I loved Hitler soo much that I made an effort to go out and buy a volkswagen. I then thought i'd spend my left over cash on aftermarket performance parts from people such as piper, goodridge, EBC etc..

I do like how they've picked up a vibe of "ford owners thinking all veedubers are eyeliner wearing gays" when its only the retards like the owner of that mk1. Also how the polo thread has now turnt into a ford hating thread. Contradiction much.

lol? so they can call us hilter lovers but we cant call them chavs? tbh they can fuck right off. they dont understand that a few people in all scenes take things to the extreme. they just cant handle the extremes!

edit: i'd like to see chip's nova against the 20vt mk3 polo.... think that would be fun to watch

thanks 8-)

It is quite ironic actually because Hitler being a huge admirer had a picture of Henry Ford on his desk and mentioned him and the Ford Motor Company in Mein Kampf..

Was in the garage doing some wiring on a clio, and now I'm off to the rollers with it, so will be quiet again while doing that.

Just to clarify though, its the entire ratlook part of the vw scene I fucking hate, its just pointless and a waste of good cars in a lot of cases.

I used the term "whole gay vw scene" and "entire emo vw scene" etc to refer to specifcally the ratlook part of the vw scene, as mentioned in that thread I like the mid engined polo and many other fast vw's like the scirocco thats always up at TOTB etc, and that polo too which one of your members put up.

Random couple of pictures of my car just as a couple of people on here seemed interested in it:

Would be interesting to race that polo at some point, but sadly I've just cracked the block on mine so its off the road for a while, what power is the polo, mine was around 550ish I reckon at the point of failure, but I'll probably just stick to the lowboost setting of 457bhp when I put it back together as TBH thats more than the chassis really needs for trackdays anyway!

I bet the ford boys would never go to Germany to drive round the Fascist ring, that would be far too Nazi!

Passionford normally holds two ring trips a year, fucking awesome place.

Chip, mate that i am sure is a fast car, but not everyone can afford a "fast" car. I live in the city and dont get over 30mph much so it would be pointless for me. So to compensate I would rather spend my limited funds on subtle mods, that just happen to be scene. Such as low, lil dish and smooth. Nothing OTT but all that IMO suit my VW.

Welcome to CP Chip, I like your numberplate lol

Chip, mate that i am sure is a fast car

No mate, its a stationary car, I wound the boost up the other day and managed to crack the actual engine block itself, lol

Agreed not everyone can afford to spend 15K on an engine and blow it up like some of us idiots choose to do so, but everyone can afford to do cheap mods with taste rather than add 30 degrees of camber, fit 2cv tyres stretched out of shape, and lower their car so far its dangerous on standard shocks with wishbone angles pointing up to the sky.

I've been poor myself and still into cars, for me it was a mini that I was keeping going with bits from the local scrapyard etc, I'm not a snob, I just hate all the shit cars that people create that are blatantly dangerous and serve no purpose and look utterly wank (actually, that kind of matches my nova now I think about it a bit more, LOL)

So, how is you turning your boost up so much that you crack your block so different to us lowering our cars to much and hitting humps? I agree with you completely on the Golf, silly and dangerous. But hardly any different to what people running silly amount of boost do to their cars.

Scrapyard junkie :p

Lol, i didnt just turn the boost up, I remapped it as well, sadly though the block obviously had an underyling weakness to give in at a relatively modest power level (550ish is a lot, but others have seen more)

The difference though is that a cracked block doesnt make a car bounce off the road when it hits a bump, lowering it 120mm on standard shocks and wishbones etc does!

BTW I'll direct you and PF lads to the stance thread http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?...0&hl=stance there's enough stretch, poke and slam in there for the hate to last till next week :-D

Some of thats a bit shit

But even that is nothing like as bad as the wanky golf that PF thread was about!

*Cough* Build quality *cough*

I joke i joke.

Its all form over function, all the engine mod (550hp on the road?), the "scene" mods. But if everyone wanted function we'd all buy a cheap little Nissan. Micra :p

If you have massive power, you dont have to use it on the road, still perfectly possible to drive the car very safely when you arent on massive boost, if you have wishbones pointing at the sky, totally wrong scrub radius's, massively excessive camber, and horrific bump steer, its just unsafe even when driven sensibley.

I dont mind so long as they only kill themselves though, its just when they hit others its a problem.

But that's still scene right? Therefore making the owner a gay, emo, Hitler loving, self harmer, correct?

I never mentioned hitler you are confusing me with someone else, but yes thats very much the "scene" I cant stand and on the basis of that I would make the assumption that the owner is a complete tool IMHO for wanting to do that to a car and drive it around like that.

Shame cause IMHO he has totally ruined what could have been a nice car, looks like a really tidy shell etc, lose the camber and it would be ok, although still not to my personal taste

How many times do you hear on the news that someone driving too fast has ran over a kid or hit another car. I dont think I've ever heard anyone killing some1 else by running too much camber or by having silly stretch. A common phrase on here comes to mind- LOW and SLOW! Gives the admirers more time to stare :p

and lower their car so far its dangerous on standard shocks with wishbone angles pointing up to the sky.

you show me one car on here on standard shock's with the wishbone pointing to the skies?

see you've just got this image in your head and your banding it about like it's pure fact. there are plenty cars on this site that are silly low, all done through the medium of coilovers, maybe you have heard of this new fangled invention?
