chip. the mk3 mid engined polo is ian birches old one.. was for sale on here awhile back. hes now running a new shape caddy van. 4wd twin engined 635bhp.

I'm shocked by ure earlier comments on the ford forum as you made yourself come across as a right bellend but you seem ok. the vw "scene" as WE know it is the modified "scene" as a whole. as per peoples replys I'm guessing that you have worked that one out.

nova does look like a nice 1/4 mile runner but I'm sure the track or rally people would say you have fucked the handling up just for a quarter mile?

the camber n stretch thing came from the rwd drift boys who dont want good sideways traction.. doesnt mean they dont perfom well around the track. it came into the vw scene so you can fit wider wheels onto the car.. alot of people do it me being one but you will always find people that will take things to the extreme.

mad camber or mad stretch or falsed rat just doesnt work for me. the vw "scene" air and water is made up of alot of different looks not that i like to label anything but some of them being: euro.. track.. 1/4 mile.. OEM+.. cleaned.. rat.. falsed rat.. concourse the list goes on.

you've ruined the who suspension geometry on your nova in a much more extreme way than the lad's who wind their coilovers down to the bottom.

I very much doubt its been left standard lol. If he has the skills to out a engine in the back of a nover, he has the skills to sort the Geometry out whilst hes at it.

he's still taking a small car that was designed to be front wheel drive and putting the weight of an engine over the rear wheels while loosing the weight of an engine over the front wheels. 550bhp going through the rear wheels of a nova is insane

i'm not saying the nova isn't awesome, i'd fucking love a go in it lol, what i'm saying is he is hating on people that mess with the suspension set on their cars and saying that it's dangerous when he has gone much further with the suspension set up on his car.

I've remade all the suspension, its like this on the back now:

Coilovers and rose jointed toe control arms, and the angles are all very close to spot on, wishbones pointing very slightly downwards when sat static etc, certainly a far cry from how they end up on some gay "slammed" polo or nova or whatever which still has the engine in the right place, lol

I've also altered the front suspension quite a lot too, its essentially as close as I can (at home in my shed) get it to VX220 geometry now.

Its a bit rough in places TBH, looks better in the pictures than in real life, but its still great fun.

Its a fair amount for a budget fiesta, the lad saying that though doesnt drive a fiesta, he drives a ford transit connect van with 289bhp and well over 300lbft

My focus diesel (it was a cheap reliable daily) 184flb torque stock hardly worth bragging at all yet almost double what he trys to brag

(I'm not a ford fanboy because I own one, my past 4 cars have been VW)

Yeah he bought it pretty much like that from an old lady for a couple of notes.

It's slowly being done up, new arches etc etc until it's gonna be a minter. It's naturally ratty as fuck, but so much character!

There are loads of people with fast fords, its cheap and easy to do.

Modified fords tend to always look OTT to me, I think they need to learn to be subtle.

And WTF is it with those round stainless exhaust tips with the rolled ends??? They all have one of those.
