chav means council house adult vandal! it is not a style or a genre of music or an attitiude it is a type of person, very few people are actually chavs but get labelled with it, a few of my very good mates are often reffered to as chav but are real stand up guys and are not like people prejudge them to be, think people are just becoming more prejudice and throwing things around like clothing and age of person determining the nature of thier personality!

there is definately a group in society that are causing alot of problems but its like afghanistan, not every one who lives there and weres a talib (afghanistani hat) is taliban, but the forces there are trying to sort the good from the bad!

Brit look is just what people were doing like 10 years ago if not more. Big wheels, big splitters, smoothed tailgates, morette headlights and the likes of. By todays standard it would just be classed as chav.

'Typically' and in my own eyes its late 80s/early 90s blocky shaped cars (mk2 golfs, mk3/4 escorts, orions, E30s, novas, 205s, R5GTTs etc) modded to look 'hard', if you like. Slight lowerage on some chunky spoked wheels, 6 or 8 spokes i seem to recall being the most chosen, big bumpers or chunky splitters, light brows and sunstrips. Maybe even the odd bonnet vent and single wiper conversion

Took me a bloody age digging around in our archives to find those pics! Some of the old 90s cars are awesome, the really early ones are running the same wheels the Euro crowd love now.

Same here - best way to get properly wide wheels is to fit properly wide arches!

Can't say the Testarossa vents do anything for me, but gotta love that girth. First people to mix old school kit and car with proper stance and stretch will be making waves this year, trust me.

ahh man the colours were the best thing about those days, the lairyer the better, no flip paints or any of that bullshit, just solid shocking colours, and lots of them.

The only thing wrong with the 309 you posted Guy is the mirrors as far as I'm concerned, it's pretty lush too, but I just love that white one! Also, I think the split rim speedlines are pretty cool!
